Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha: "Highly value the productive meeting with the Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Mitsui Yuko.
I thanked Ms. Mitsui for her recent visit to Ukraine and expressed deep gratitude to JICA for its unwavering commitment and invaluable contribution to Ukraine’s resilience and fast recovery.
On my visit to Japan, I am accompanied by a strong delegation of Ukrainian enterprises covering energy, logistics, agriculture, and other areas. Today, they had a fruitful exchange with JICA on areas of already ongoing and perspective cooperation.
Discussed expanding robust economic recovery and development partnership, with a particular focus on integrating cutting-edge Japanese technologies into Ukrainian production and establishing new resilient markets.
I invited JICA to look into the possibility of supporting projects to strengthen social cohesion in Ukraine, including the reintegration of veterans, support for our frontline communities, and programs to create proper conditions in Ukraine for those who return from abroad.
I reaffirmed our sincere gratitude to JICA for its steadfast and dedicated support for our people".
