Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a meaningful and productive meeting with my Rwandan counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe. 

During our meeting, we focused on peace. The implementation of the Washington Agreements to ensure lasting peace, security, and development in the Great Lakes region, as well as peace efforts to put an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine. 

The position of African states is important to advance peace initiatives.  

I thanked my counterpart for Rwanda’s principled voice and consistent support for crucial Ukraine-related resolutions within the UN.   

We also discussed further strengthening Ukraine–Rwanda bilateral relations and enhancing our partnership in areas of mutual interest.   

Ukraine highly values its friendship with Rwanda and looks forward to deepening our dialogue and cooperation".
