Anton Demokhin addressed the participants of the cyber exercises held within the framework of the Tallinn Mechanism

On December 11, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister, Chief Digital Transformation Officer Anton Demokhin welcomed participants of cyber exercise of the “UA-EE Cyber Shield via Tallinn Mechanism”.

The event was organized by the e-Governance Academy (eGA) with support of the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) and the Estonian cybersecurity company CybExer Technologies, as well as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the CDTO Campus team, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Embassy of Estonia in Ukraine.

“These exercises not only enhance practical skills in protecting critical infrastructure, but also foster deeper cooperation between government agencies and international partners. This is an important step in strengthening Ukraine's cyber defence,” said Anton Demokhin.

The Deputy Minister thanked the organizers and partners for their support and emphasized that cybersecurity is a key component of national security, especially in the face of current challenges. He stressed the need of joining forces to strengthen cyber defence, which is critical for protecting Ukraine's sovereignty and democratic values, especially during times of war, when cyber threats are becoming one of the main tools of the aggressor.

This event was an important step in the development of security partnerships and increasing Ukraine's cyber resilience. It contributes not only to the protection of physical borders, but also to the strengthening of our country's digital sovereignty.
