Facing current challenges and threats, our common interest is the consolidation of efforts to enhance national cyber resilience and building a secure global cyberspace, stated Anton Demokhin, Deputy Foreign Minister, Chief Digital Transformation Officer. CDTO took part in the panel discussion "The Role of International Cooperation in Global Cyber Deterrence" in the framework of the Second Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum 2025 "Defending Democracy" which commenced today in Kyiv.

Addressing the event participants, Anton Demokhin expressed his gratitude to international partners for their unwavering support of Ukraine. Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of cooperation within international initiatives, particularly the "Tallinn Mechanism." He also stressed the critical necessity of accelerating the pace and scope of European and Euro-Atlantic cooperation in cybersecurity and called on international partners to step up their engagement in joint initiatives and projects.

Anton Demokhin highlighted the unique experience Ukraine has gained in cyber resilience and emphasized the country’s readiness to share this expertise with international partners while actively contributing to the development of a global cyber deterrence system.

The Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum is one of the key cybersecurity events not only in Ukraine but also in Central and Eastern Europe. It’s a platform that unites leading Ukrainian and international cybersecurity experts, thought leaders, policymakers, government officials, business representatives, think tanks, and media. 

On the sitelines of the Forum the Deputy Minister also held productive meetings with Maciej Stądejek, Director for Security and Defense Policy at the European External Action Service and Josef Schröfl, Deputy Director of the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats.
