On June 22, 2020, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevheniy Yenin held the meeting with Ambassador of Australia Melissa O’Rurk.

During the meeting interlocutors noted the progress of the investigation into the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 and discussed certain issues of hearings resumed in the Netherlands. 

They also discussed the ways to promote further comprehensive bilateral collaboration, in particular through the exchange of high-level visits. 

Melissa O’Rurk emphasized Australia’s unwavering support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, including within the frames of international organizations and in relation to the sanctions policy consistency.
