On the 20^th of October, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Ukraine Hashem Hasan Dajani who presented copies of Credentials.   

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for Ukrainian-Palestinian relations in trade, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres of mutual interest.

Vasyl Bodnar noted the positive trend in trade between Ukraine and Palestine following the results of 2019, and admitted the importance of bilateral consultations between Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Palestine.

The diplomatic mission of Palestine in Ukraine has been operating since 2001.
