On Wednesday, November 8, while visiting Brussels Minister Dmytro Kuleba at the invitation of the Japanese Presidency took part in the G7 ministerial meeting.

Minister Kuleba expressed gratitude to the G7 members for supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression and received assurances of its steadfastness.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister emphasized the priority importance of joint work on the further promotion of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

"I call on you to jointly strengthen efforts to promote President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, expanding the geography of its support. Restoring the principles of the UN Charter and creating effective war prevention mechanisms are in the interests of all states," emphasized the Minister.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs drew the attention of his colleagues to the priority of further military support to Ukraine and increasing the volume of joint manufacturing of weapons and ammunition in the interests of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and strengthening the Allies' defense capabilities.

"It's time to create a common ecosystem for the defense industries of the G7 member states, the European Union and EU candidate states. Defense industries are the muscles of the free world, and we need to build them up as soon as possible. That is what reality requires. I urge you to consider a joint policy of manufacturing and supply of weapons," said Dmytro Kuleba.

The Minister recalled the successful International Defense Industries Forum in Ukraine in September with the participation of 252 leading defense companies from over 30 countries, and called on the interlocutors to actively encourage defense companies in their countries to cooperate with the Ukrainian partners for the joint defense manufacturing.

The G7 Foreign Ministers expressed the unconditional support for Ukraine. One of the Ministers stated: "Our determination and will to ensure Ukraine’s victory is more resolute now than ever."
