Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Dmytro Kuleba held phone talks with Alternate Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Mr. Yair Lapid.
The heads of Ukrainian and Israeli foreign offices noted with pleasure the intensive political dialogue between Ukraine and Israel, discussed the exchange of visits of the highest and high level, including the participation of the Israeli delegation in commemorative events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.
Dmytro Kuleba informed Yair Lapid about the outcomes of the inaugural Summit of the Crimea Platform that took place on August 23 in Kyiv.
A separate topic of conversation was the travel regime between the two countries in the context of COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the results of 2020, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Israel in goods and services amounted to 907.3 mln USD. Ukraine's positive balance of foreign trade in goods and services with Israel last year amounted to 513.1 mln USD.
