Dmytro Kuleba expressed his gratitude to the German side for the strong defense support provided by the German government to Ukraine. "I thank Germany for taking the lead in strengthening Ukraine's air defense and encouraging other partners to follow suit. Today we discussed how to accelerate the decision of third countries to provide Ukraine with additional Patriot air defense systems," the Minister said.

For her part, Annalena Baerbock strongly condemned Russian aggression and missile attacks on civilian and infrastructure facilities, emphasizing full and unequivocal support for Ukraine in its fight for democratic values. The German Foreign Minister reiterated her call on international partners to provide Ukraine with more air defense equipment. "Germany supports Ukraine every day and will continue to support Ukraine until peaceful life comes to Ukraine," said Annalena Baerbock.

The parties paid considerable attention to the preparation for the Global Peace Summit to be held on June 15-16 in Switzerland. "The summit should reaffirm the commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of states within their internationally recognized borders, the need to restore a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine on the basis of the UN Charter and key principles of international law," said Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Dmytro Kuleba and Annalena Baerbock emphasized the importance of the next Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) to be held in Berlin on June 11-12 and noted the need to launch specific recovery projects based on the results of the Conference.

The Ministers also discussed Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, as well as the use of frozen Russian assets for Ukraine's needs.
