The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

Dmytro Kuleba expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressed that the position of our state to support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was and remains unchanged.

Jeyhun Bayramov confirmed that Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with Ukraine both bilaterally and within international organizations in restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine within internationally recognized borders.

The ministers discussed preparations for the Crimean Platform summit and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, which will take place on August 23-24 in Kyiv.

The parties agreed to intensify bilateral dialogue at a high level. Dmytro Kuleba also invited Jeyhun Bayramov to pay a visit to Ukraine.

The ministers' as well discussed the security situation in the South Caucasus region. Jeyhun Bayramov informed Dmytro Kuleba about the latest events on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Dmytro Kuleba stressed the importance of resolving the existing disputes between the two countries exclusively through peaceful dialogue.
