On the sidelines of the NATO Ministerial Meeting in Riga, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.
Dmytro Kuleba informed the Hungarian Minister about the security situation in the temporarily occupied territories and alongside the state border of Ukraine in the context of the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The parties agreed on a common understanding that despite some difficult issues in Ukrainian-Hungarian relations, Ukraine's security is also the security of Hungary and of the entire eastern flank of NATO.
The meeting took place on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Hungary, which is celebrated on December 3.
