On 20 November 2020, the DEV Challenge begins its seventeenth IT Championship in Ukraine with team nomination. This time, the task will be to develop a special chat bot platform for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"The Foreign Ministry continues its big digital transformation. We asked the best IT developers in Ukraine to design a special chat bot platform for us during the competition. It will help hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens get answers to their questions in just a few clicks’’, said Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
The head of the Foreign Ministry explained that the chat bot users would get immediate support just using a smart device: "For some, this chat bot will help find out how long it takes to get apostille, for others, it may quickly provide the necessary contacts in an emergency situation abroad. Therefore, your effort to develop this tool will help not even the Foreign Ministry, but hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens", the Minister said to the participants of the competition.

The new tool will be designed in such a way that it provides assistance in:
We expect that the platform will be available via Facebook Messenger, Viber, Telegram, web widgets on the Foreign Ministry website and on social networks.
The chat bot platform is created free of charge within the partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and We_Challenge.
