The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a phone conversation with Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammed Siala.

Dmytro Kuleba confirmed that Ukraine continues to recognize the Government of National Accord, and also supports the territorial integrity of Libya. He also invited Mohammed Siala to visit Ukraine when circumstances permit.

The Libyan counterpart informed the Foreign Minister of Ukraine about the security situation in Libya.

The parties paid special attention to the release of 18 Ukrainian sailors in detention facilities in Libya, including 4 crew members of the «Captain Khayyam» tanker and 14 crew members of the «Ruta» tanker.
