On April 23, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov.

The Parties noted the dynamic of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani dialogue, in particular the cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ministers discussed the results of the official visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Azerbaijan (December 16-17, 2019). They expressed the certainty that the arrangements reached during this visit would contribute to the deepening of the bilateral cooperation between the two states, in particular in the economic, tourist and transport spheres, as well as within GUAM. 

The Ministers exchanged invitations to pay official visits to Ukraine and Azerbaijan respectively.
