On 17 August First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova met with the Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine Bruce Edwards.

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed appreciation for Australia’s consistent and comprehensive support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine against the backdrop of ongoing Russian aggression.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on promoting bilateral political dialogue and cooperation within the UN, as well as supporting Ukrainian initiatives, in particular President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula and the International Crimea Platform.

Emine Dzhaparova stressed the need of bringing to justice Russian war crimes perpetrators and expressed hope for Australia’s support in this direction.
