On February 23, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Annely Kolk.
Emine Dzhaparova expressed gratitude for Estonia's unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and providing our state with necessary weapons and military equipment to counter Russian aggression. Estonia's support for new EU sanction packages against the Russian Federation is extremely important, as well as Estonia's leadership in developing and implementing a mechanism for confiscation of frozen Russian assets and their allocation for Ukraine's recovery. Estonia is actively involved in the post-war reconstruction of the Zhytomyr region.
Emine Dzhaparova and Annely Kolk discussed a number of current issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda, as well as the intensification of Ukrainian-Estonian contacts. The parties also paid special attention to the implementation of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy`s Peace Formula, cooperation within multilateral formats and holding Russia accountable for its crimes.
