We follow with great concern the fresh outbreak of violence in Gaza, which has already resulted in numerous civilian casualties.

We urge all parties to uphold their commitments and avoid further violence, which could have disastrous consequences for the region.

Instead, the ceasefire must be renewed, all hostages freed, and humanitarian aid to Gaza residents resumed.
