The decision of the Russian Federation to suspend its participation in New START Treaty, announced today, is yet another provocative action by the aggressor state. 

Russia continues to deliberately destroy the existing architecture of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. 

By undermining one of the key international treaties in the area of nuclear weapons control, Russia has brazenly challenged the whole international community, proved once again its violent nature and demonstrated its aggressive intent to ruin international peace and security. 

Moscow`s rhetoric on the possibility to use nuclear weapons is unacceptable and threatens security of the entire world. 

We call upon the international community to stay united in responding decisively to Russa`s aggressive behavior and take urgent joint actions to prevent and counter any form of nuclear blackmailing by the terrorist state.
