On February 12, 2025 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a video conference with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ecuador Carlos Játiva.

Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the Ecuadorian side for its unwavering support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The interlocutors discussed key aspects of Ukrainian-Ecuadorian cooperation and the deepening of political dialogue. 

Special attention during the conversation was given to collaboration within international organizations to achieve comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine.

Mariana Betsa and Carlos Játiva reaffirmed their shared interest in further strengthening bilateral relations and agreed to maintain regular contact to coordinate future steps in priority areas of cooperation.
