On November 6, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with the delegation of the Political and Security Committee of the EU (PSC), which is chaired by Ms. Delphine Pronk.

The ambassadors of all EU member-states to the PSC reaffirmed the European Union's unwavering support of Ukraine and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

Mariana Betsa updated the ambassadors on the security situation in our country in the context of ongoing Russian aggressive war, and also informed them in detail on the implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the only effective plan to achieve a comprehensive, just and long-lasting peace.

The Deputy Minister also emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine's Victory Plan.

"Ukraine is firmly committed to the position that any other peace initiatives that do not ensure the restoration of territorial integrity of our country are unacceptable," she emphasized. Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the EU for its active support of the Peace Formula and highlighted the importance of increasing the number of countries, including from the so-called Global South, to be involved in its implementation.

During the meeting the sides discussed Ukraine's membership perspective in NATO and the EU, the issues of strengthening sanctions against Russia and bringing Moscow to justice for its crimes, as well as the usage of Russian frozen assets for the benefit of Ukraine.

PSC delegation, in turn, expressed its full support of Ukraine and readiness to provide military, financial, economic and humanitarian assistance to our country as long as necessary.
