On 12 February, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev.

Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for the humanitarian assistance provided amid Russia’s ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine.

During the meeting, the interlocutors paid particular attention to strengthening cooperation within the United Nations and other international organizations.

Mariana Betsa and Seymur Mardaliyev also underscored the importance of further developing Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
