On 22 January, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Gaël Vessier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Ukraine.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the French side for its solidarity and steadfast support of Ukraine amid Russia’s ongoing aggression against our country.

The parties discussed cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations, with particular attention to key events marking the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Ambassador Gaël Vessier reaffirmed France’s unwavering support for Ukraine in the face of full-scale Russian aggression and expressed readiness for further close cooperation, both bilaterally and on international platforms.

The interlocutors agreed to coordinate joint efforts within international organizations and to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
