On November 27, Deputy Foreign Minister Mariana Betsa took part in the official signing ceremony of the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework between the Government of Ukraine and the UN “A Partnership for Recovery and Development 2025–2029.”
During the ceremony, co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka and the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine Matias Schmale, Deputy Minister Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the UN team for its consistent support of the Government of Ukraine amid Russia’s aggression. She emphasized that the signing of the Framework Programme is a strategic step forward aimed at strengthening further cooperation with the UN in Ukraine.
The document serves as a strategic foundation for cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the UN system for 2025–2029. Its purpose is to establish a clear algorithm of joint actions aimed at community recovery and development, strengthening social cohesion and national unity, creating conditions for people to return to their homes, as well as enhancing Ukraine’s institutional capacities and industrial potential.
