On April 1, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

The counterparts discussed priority issues of cooperation and mutual support within international organizations. Mariana Betsa and Mustafa Levent Bilgen paid special attention to the coordination of efforts between Ukraine and Türkiye within the framework of UNESCO.

Mariana Betsa expressed deep gratitude for Türkiye's consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders amidst Russia's ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine.

Mustafa Levent Bilgen, for his part, reaffirmed Türkiye's readiness to further support Ukraine to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.
