On January 18, 2022 Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi met with Ambassador of Cyprus to Ukraine Louis Telemachou.

The Deputy Foreign Minister thanked Cyprus for its unwavering firm support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and for the solidarity with our country in the context of the Russia’s aggressive activities.

The Sides discussed further steps to develop political dialog and ways to intensify bilateral cooperation.

For reference: On April 22, 2021 the second joint session of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-Cyprus Commission was held in the videoconference format.

On June 23, 2021 Ukraine-Cyprus political consultations took place led by deputy foreign ministers.
