The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held an online meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodzhiddin Mukhriddin.

The parties positively noted the intensification of relations between Ukraine and Tajikistan, discussed preparations for holding an intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Dushanbe this year.

The Foreign Minister of Tajikistan stressed the importance of cooperation with the Ukrainian side in the field of hydropower and noted the high quality of Ukrainian equipment.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy assured of Ukraine's readiness to implement mutually beneficial projects in this area, further development of economic cooperation and trade between the two countries.

The interlocutors exchanged invitations to pay working visits. Dmytro Kuleba confirmed the invitation to the top leadership of the Republic of Tajikistan to take part in the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

The Ministers signed the Program of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2022, which aims to bring the cooperation of foreign ministries to a qualitatively new level.
