Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba: "I had a call with Belgium's Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, who expressed her condolences for the lives lost in Russia’s latest attack on Odesa. I informed my Belgian colleague about the current frontline situation and thanked Belgium for its additional contribution to purchasing artillery ammunition for Ukraine. This will help increase and expedite deliveries to our warriors on the frontlines. I also stressed the importance of strengthening Ukraine's air defense, particularly our frontline air defense capabilities. I am grateful to Minister Lahbib for reaffirming that the Belgian EU Presidency will make every effort to ensure timely progress on all decisions advancing Ukraine's EU accession path. We also paid close attention to the preparations for the first Global Peace Summit in Switzerland".
