I thanked Colombia for its support for Ukraine and stressed the importance of Colombia’s voice in upholding sovereignty and international law. We count on its continued support.

I briefed my colleague on Russia’s escalating attacks against Ukrainian civilians, as well as its strikes on Black Sea ports and civilian shipping, which threaten freedom of navigation and global food security.

Ukraine reaffirms its readiness to cooperate with the Republic of Colombia in countering Russia’s illegal recruitment of Colombian nationals for its war of aggression against Ukraine.

We discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, expand economic cooperation, and develop practical initiatives that would benefit both our countries.

We agreed on further contacts and to continue working to unlock the considerable potential of Ukraine–Colombia cooperation".
