Mykola Tochytskyi and Swiss FDFA State Secretary Livia Leu discussed security situation around Ukraine

Mykola Tochytskyi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, held a video conference with Livia Leu, State Secretary of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.

Mykola Tochytskyi informed Livia Leu about the current security situation around Ukraine and in the temporarily occupied territories of our state. Emphasis was made on Ukraine's commitment to an exclusively peaceful and diplomatic settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict.

The State Secretary of the Swiss Foreign Ministry confirmed that Switzerland will continue to make every effort to promote the de-escalation of military tensions near the Ukrainian border. The Swiss Embassy in Ukraine continues to work as usual. 

Mykola Tochytskyi thanked for the significant Swiss humanitarian aid to our country, as well as for the continuous work of the Swiss observers from the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.

The parties paid attention to the preparations for the Conference on Reforms in Ukraine to be held in July in Lugano, Switzerland, as an event aimed at promoting systemic transformations in our country.
