On April 22, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the State Agency “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by the State Secretary of the MFA Oleksandr Karasevych and the Director of the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office Andrii Talama in the presence of Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis.

The memorandum aims to strengthen support for Ukrainian businesses in foreign markets and make state-run export promotion tools more practical and accessible. This primarily involves assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in finding partners abroad and expanding sales.

The agreements provide for the provision of up-to-date information on foreign markets to businesses, the organization of training and business events, support for Ukrainian companies’ participation in international exhibitions and forums, as well as coordinated efforts to promote Ukrainian goods and services abroad. The parties will pay special attention to exchanging information and developing solutions that will help companies identify new opportunities abroad more quickly and take advantage of them more effectively.

The Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, is implementing the national project Diia.Business, which brings together tools to support entrepreneurs. In particular, the Diia.Business portal features a dedicated module for exporters with practical solutions for entering international markets and developing export activities.

The memorandum signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine laid the groundwork for strengthening this area of work, including through the involvement of economic departments at diplomatic missions abroad, which will provide up-to-date information on foreign markets, trade shows, contacts of potential partners, and more.
