The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses its deep condolences on the passing of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine, Borys Bazylevskyi.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announces with profound sadness the passing of Borys Mykolaiovych Bazylevskyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine.

Borys Mykolaiovych served in various high-ranking state and diplomatic positions, including Head of the Secretariat of the Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Foreign Affairs (since 1995 — the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Relations with the CIS), Consul General of Ukraine in Chicago, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Ireland.

The staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine extends its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of Borys Mykolaiovych.
