On April 23, Oleksandr Karasevych, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, held a meeting with Valeriy Kopiika, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas for developing cooperation between the MFA of Ukraine and the Institute, particularly regarding the involvement of the Institute’s academic expertise in preparing expert studies on current issues of foreign policy and the protection of Ukraine’s national interests on the international stage.
As a result, the parties agreed to establish systematic expert support from the Institute on issues of interest to Ukraine’s foreign policy activities, as well as to coordinate the topics of master’s theses and dissertations in accordance with the current needs of the MFA of Ukraine.
The parties paid special attention to the development of practical training for future specialists in the field of international relations, namely through the organization of internships for the Institute’s students at the MFA of Ukraine.
