On June 17, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of North Macedonia to Ukraine, Mr.Dimitar Blazhevski.

Olexandr Mischenko congratulated Mr. Ambassador on the beginning of his mission in Ukraine and expressed hope for the further active development of bilateral cooperation.

The Deputy Minister thanked North Macedonia for its consistent support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, particularly within the framework of international organizations.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation in the political, security, and energy sectors.

Special attention was paid to the issues of establishing mechanisms for holding the country aggressor accountable for its crimes and supporting Ukraine within the framework of NATO programs.
