On August 12, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye Mustafa Levent Bilgen, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

Olexandr Mischenko expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Bilgen for his personal contribution to the development of the Ukrainian-Turkish strategic partnership, the strengthening of political dialogue, and Türkiye’s consistent support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Deputy Minister noted the active engagement between Ukraine and Türkiye on pressing regional issues, in particular the security of the Black Sea, as well as the importance of further coordinating efforts to strengthen stability in the region.

Attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the defence and military-technical spheres. The Sides also discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda and reaffirmed their strong interest in maintaining dynamic political dialogue between Kyiv and Ankara.

Olexandr Mischenko thanked Mustafa Levent Bilgen for his fruitful work as Ambassador of Türkiye to Ukraine and wished him every success in his further diplomatic service.
