On November 13, 2024 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

Gratitude was expressed to Türkiye for its constant support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as mediation efforts on the background of ongoing full-scale Russian aggression.

Modalities and substantive content of bilateral visits of high and interdepartmental levels for the near future were outlined.

In this context, special attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the recent official visit to the Republic of Türkiye by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, in particular theimplementation of the Plan of consultations between foreign policy ministries for 2025-2026.

There was an exchange of views on issues of regional security and navigation in the Black Sea and the role and place of Ukraine and Türkiye in ensuring global food security.
