On January 13, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

Olexandr Mischenko noted Turkey's consistent position on supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, and also expressed gratitude for mediation efforts against the background of the ongoing full-scale Russian aggression.

The interlocutors discussed current topics of bilateral cooperation, European integration and plans for joint activities this year.

In addition, there was a detailed exchange of views on regional security issues, primarily those related to the Black Sea.

The defense sphere and military-technical cooperation were discussed on separate issues.
