On November 7, 2024 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleхandr Mischenko held a meeting with the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Estonia for Political Affairs Martin Roger.

Oleхandr Mischenko highly appreciated the dynamics of the bilateral political dialogue, noted the joint commitment to further development of mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed sincere gratitude to Estonia for comprehensive political, economic and humanitarian support to Ukraine.

Diplomats discussed the state of implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, support for Ukraine's Victory Plan and further bilateral cooperation on Ukraine's accession to the European Union and NATO.

The parties were united on the need to consolidate the international community aiming to establish a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine and to expand restrictive measures against the Russian Federation. Oleхandr Mischenko thanked Estonia for its active participation in the implementation of post-war reconstruction projects in the Zhytomyr Region.

For his part, Martin Roger assured that Estonia will continue supporting our country, particularly in the defence sector, with the aim of ensuring Ukraine's victory over the Russian aggressor.
