On 27 June 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau of the Republic of Poland Dariusz Łukowski.
During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on current issues of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland, in particular in the field of security and defense. The Parties were pleased to note the intensification of bilateral visits and contacts at the high and highest levels.
The Frist Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Poland for its powerful assistance in connection with the ongoing Russian aggression, as well as for its consistent support on the way to Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO.
For his part, the Polish high-ranking official assured that Poland’s policy in support of Ukraine would not change.
The interlocutors discussed promising directions for the further development of bilateral cooperation in the interests of both countries, which will contribute to the strengthening of the European and global security.
