On April 2, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya held a meeting with CEO of the charitable organization “RAZOM” and activist of the Ukrainian community in the United States Dora Chomiak.
Sergiy Kyslytsya expressed gratitude to the leader of the charitable organization for the constant support the organization has been providing to Ukraine for more than 10 years, and after the full-scale Russian invasion, particularly. It is about providing medicines and equipment for medical institutions in Ukraine, humanitarian aid to communities on the front line, political advocacy support, and the promotion of Ukrainian culture through education, volunteering, and the arts.
Dora Chomiak outlined the principles and priorities of the organization, noting that they currently cooperate with 200 NGOs. She also emphasized the organization's determination to strengthen its work in Ukraine.
The First Deputy Minister noted that intensification of RAZOM's activities in Ukraine is currently important, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is ready to provide maximum assistance to strengthen such cooperation.
The focus of the conversation was also on the Ukrainian Recovery Conference to be held in Italy this July, in particular the possible involvement of RAZOM organization in this event, as well as potential joint projects of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and RAZOM in the field of public diplomacy.
The meeting was also attended by MFA's Honorary Ambassador in the field of culinary diplomacy, Yevhen Klopotenko, with whom the MFA and Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad actively cooperate in the field of public diplomacy.
