On March 26, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine Mateja Prevolšek.
The First Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to Slovenia for its continued support for Ukraine and comprehensive assistance in countering Russian aggression. Sergiy Kyslytsya informed the Slovenian side about Ukraine’s steps towards a just peace and the outcomes of meetings in Saudi Arabia.
The interlocutors discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, the importance of support for Ukraine’s accession to the EU, and interaction within international organizations, particularly in the context of Slovenia’s non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council.
Ambassador Mateja Prevolšek reaffirmed Slovenia’s unwavering support for Ukraine at the bilateral level and in multilateral fora, as well as confirmed Slovenia’s readiness to continue providing political and practical assistance to Ukraine.
