On August 31, in the city of Bled, within the framework of the Strategic Forum, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Tone Kajzer.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral political cooperation, further military assistance to Ukraine, and the development of cooperation between the defense industries of the two states.

Yevhen Perebyinis thanked Slovenia for its consistent support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, in particular for its contribution to the PURL program, military assistance, and support for international initiatives in favor of Ukraine. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of deepening cooperation in the field of production of unmanned systems, air and missile defense.

The interlocutors also discussed Slovenia's support for Ukraine's European integration, as well as the issue of assistance to the Ukrainian energy sector on the eve of the winter period of 2026-2027.
