On 11 November 2020, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine Jennes de Mol.

The key topics of the discussion were e-governance and digitalization of the public sector. Dmytro Senik informed the Ambassador about the introduction of digital technologies at the MFA and other state authorities of Ukraine.

Jennes de Mol positively noted the rapid implementation of digital technologies programs in Ukraine and stressed his country's readiness to develop bilateral cooperation in this area.

Dmytro Senik expressed gratitude to the Clingendael - the Netherlands Institute of International Relations - for having conducted training course on commercial diplomacy and international business for Ukrainian diplomats, noting Ukraine’s interest in continuing this cooperation. The parties agreed to work on establishing ties between the Clingendael and the Diplomatic Academy at the MFA of Ukraine, as well as to intensify interaction between Ukrainian and Dutch universities, which provide education in the IT sector. 

Given the leading role of the Netherlands as one of the biggest investors in Ukraine's economy, the diplomats paid special attention to the prospects for trade and economic cooperation between two countries.
