On May 7, 2020, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz.
The ministers discussed the bilateral cooperation, as well as the efforts of both countries to counter the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The parties paid special attention to the preparations for the forthcoming Eastern Partnership Summit and cooperation within the framework of the Ukraine-EU agenda.
Jacek Czaputowicz assured of Poland's continued support for Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic choice, and reaffirmed the need to maintain EU sanctions against Russia.
The foreign ministers agreed on a schedule of diplomatic contacts for the near future.
