On September 23, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik received Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Ukraine Andre Groenewald.

The parties noted the need to intensify bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

In order to promote Ukrainian products on the markets of South Africa, they agreed to establish a Ukrainian-South African Business Council, as well as to launch a series of thematic online business events with the participation of Ukrainian and South African businessmen.

"We consider South Africa as one of the key partners in the context of supporting domestic producers in entering the markets of African countries," - said Dmytro Senik.

The parties also discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.
