On October 25, 2021, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik held a meeting with the leadership of the Jordanian ICT Association «Int@j» within the framework of his visit to Jordan.

Dmytro Senik presented Ukraine's achievements in the sphere of digitalization, as well as briefed on a special legal regime for IT industry in Ukraine «Diia City», under which IT companies in Ukraine will receive a special taxation model, flexible employment conditions and a specific procedure for cooperation with government regulators.

The sides shared their experiences in introduction of information technologies and digitalization of public services and discussed prospects for the development of cooperation in the IT sphere.

The sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Exporters and Investors Council under Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Jordanian ICT Association «Int@j» in order to promote cooperation between Ukrainian and Jordanian IT companies.

As the first step in implementing the provisions of the Memorandum, Dmytro Senik proposed to organize in 2022 a business-forum between Ukrainian and Jordanian IT companies in order to get acquainted with the opportunities and proposals of the Ukrainian IT market and establish direct contacts between the business communities.

Deputy Foreign Minister also conveyed to CEO of the Jordanian ICT Association «Int@j» Ukrainian IT companies’ offers for cooperation.
