On May 20, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Mr. Tolezhan Barlybayev.

Deputy Minister congratulated Tolezhan Barlybayev on the beginning of his third diplomatic cadence in Ukraine – this time as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and wished significant success in his important mission for the benefit of the two states and nations.

Yevhen Perebyinis thanked for Kazakhstan’s support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Noting Astana’s commitment to the fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter, he stressed the importance of establishing a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

The parties also discussed ways of intensifying bilateral political dialogue and deepening trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
