On the 3rd of February, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with a delegation of the Advisory Council on International Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by its Chair, Mr. Bert Koenders.

Yevhen Perebyinis expressed gratitude to the Dutch side for its consistent support of Ukraine in the context of the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation and highlighted the important role of the Advisory Council as an independent advisory body shaping the Netherlands’ foreign policy strategic approaches on European and security issues, including on support for Ukraine.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for EU enlargement and Ukraine’s progress on this path, discussed transatlantic relations and Ukraine’s place in the European security architecture, as well as further support for Ukraine from European and Euro-Atlantic partners.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of unity in ensuring the swift completion of the negotiation process on Ukraine’s accession to the EU, as well as the need to strengthen Europe’s role in guaranteeing long-term security on the continent.
