On 23 July, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with a Czech parliamentary delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies' Committee on Security Martin Exner.
During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of political dialogue between Ukraine and the Czech Republic and stressed that our countries are committed to further strengthening strategic partnership and promoting Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The parties exchanged views on the internal political situation in the Czech Republic prior to the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in October. In this context, the diplomats expressed their hope for continued comprehensive support for Ukraine following the elections, including further defence supplies for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the implementation of Czech projects to restore Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
Yevhen Perebyinis thanked the Czech partners for their continued support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty amidst Russian armed aggression. In this context, the parties paid attention to the efforts of our country and its international partners aimed at achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.
