On April 23, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the Director of the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies, the Ambassador Fredrik Löjdquist

Yevhen Perebyinis highly praised the level of bilateral relations between two countries and the role of Stockholm in supporting Ukraine's European integration and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. He also thanked Sweden for its leadership in creating a High-level Advisory Group for the Ukrainian delegation at the opening negotiations with the EU.

The Deputy Minister also congratulated Sweden on joining NATO and emphasized the importance of the historic decision of the upcoming NATO Washington Summit regarding the official invitation of Ukraine. "We take integration into the EU and NATO as part of our victory strategy,"‑ he said.

Both sides paid attention to the issues of developing cooperation between Ukrainian and Swedish experts, security cooperation and implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

From his side, Fredrik Löjdquist confirmed the interest from the Swedish side in supporting and deepening multidimensional expert cooperation between two countries.

On April 24, Yevhen Perebyinis also took part in the opening of the Second Ukrainian-Swedish expert forum, jointly organized by the Foreign Policy Council "Ukrainian Prism" and the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies.
