On August 8, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebyinis, held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Ukraine Jaakko Lehtovirta, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian diplomat expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and Finland's comprehensive assistance in the context of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

The interlocutors discussed the state of bilateral relations, Finland's participation in the implementation of President Zelenskyy's "Peace Formula", projects to rebuild Ukraine, and cooperation between the two countries on Ukraine's path to future EU and NATO membership.

Jaakko Lehtovirta assured that Finland would continue to provide full support to Ukraine in its fight against Russian armed aggression.
